Catch The Moment Week #17

I’ve gotten behind on Catch the Moment 365 but have done fairly well at taking a picture everyday.   I only missed 1 day this week.  We are getting back in the swing of things.  Our crew is all here and there is LOTS to be done.  Here are my pics for the week.

Day-114

Our pink sunrise.

Day-115

The dogs were hunting for a mole and only came up with a salamander.  You can still see the snow in the trees.

Day-116

Today’s farm view – hauling and drying wheat.

Day-118

It’s still pretty brown in the area.  Our winter wheat hasn’t turned green yet.

Day-119

Our sunset.

Day-120

The ducks and geese were enjoying their day in the water.

Catch The Moment #16

Things are picking up around Brown Acres.  The blog is always the first thing to go.  I’ve done fairly well at taking photos but have difficulty finding time to post them.  Here are my pics for week #16.

Day-107

Day 107 Several swans were swimming south of our place.

Day-108

Day 108 Max was showing off his new Brazil shirt from one of our new guys, Ricardo.

Day-109

Day 109 I made chocolate pizza.  Ricardo had been telling us about this delicious chocolate pizza they have in Brazil.  We baked a pizza crust topped with mozzarella then poured melted chocolate chips on top.  It was served with ice cream.  It was delicious!  Ricardo said the mozzarella they use is a bit sweeter.  He loved the homemade ice cream.

Day-110

Day 110 We moved some equipment home to prepare it for the field.

Day-111

Day 111 Easter Sunday was a beautiful day.  We had dinner in the garage.  A few of our bachelor neighbors joined us too.  Our boys were busy playing in the sand for the photo.

Day-112

Day 112 An aerial of the area.  Things are still very brown around here.

Day-113
