Our final class from Wilton course 1 was about the ribbon rose & writing. It took some practice & firm icing but I eventually got it to work the roses take some practice. We decorated a cake after our lesson. The course was well worth it. I learned a lot of new techniques and information from an experienced cake decorator. This is my cake after it has done some traveling.

Wilton Cake Decorating Class 2
This is from the 2nd Wilton class course 1 this lesson was about cake basics. We brought a cake to class. The cake was leveled, torted, filled & iced. We worked on pressure control, bag position, & transferring patterns.
Wilton Cake Class
I am taking the Wilton series cake decorating class. We had our first class on February 6th. We decorated cookies and learned about filling the bags, proper positioning, thickness of frosting and icing the cake.
