Our little farmer is always happy and loves to be dirty! We were getting the cultivator set to prepare for seeding.

The ducks and several other birds were enjoying the sunrise in our field with standing water. It’s hard to believe there is water there since it is so dry here.

We stopped to check out some ducks after we finished cultivating. We had an amazing sunset. Brett took the opportunity to throw a few rocks in the water.

Brett loves helping dad anytime he can. His job was to tell him when to stop backing up to the auger.

Bella joined our family around Christmas. Everything is new to her, but she is learning the ropes of farm life. She is a shetland sheepdog or sheltie for short. She loves following Brett on his excursions.

What a blur! This is just a little bit of what went on this week. We are also preparing to head south to Oklahoma for custom harvesting winter wheat. Brett is done with pre-school for the year and is very excited to be home to help full time on the farm! He spends most of the time with mom or dad in the tractor, unless mom is working on the camper. He loves to be in the camper!
